01
I will define the systemic goals and map the operational constraints.
Initial Consultation
Align on your product vision, target audience, and any strict technical or regulatory constraints we need to navigate.
System Auditing
Analyze your existing workflows, industry benchmarks, and competitor architectures to gather actionable insights.
Agile Scoping
Instead of a monolithic roadmap, I break the project into modular, testable sprints with clear objectives, mitigating risk from day one.

I design, prototype, and validate in focused, modular sprints.
Architectural Wireframing
Map out the core logic, information architecture, and user flows before touching high-fidelity pixels.
Scalable Design Systems
Develop a robust, accessible visual language: including typography, semantic colors, and modular UI components.
Agile Prototyping & Feedback
No massive "final reveals." I deliver clickable, high-fidelity prototypes of specific sections, gather your direct feedback, and iterate instantly before moving to the next.
Final Validation
Lock in the validated sections, ensuring every interaction passes usability standards and aligns with the technical scope.

{04} — FAQ
Got Questions?
Got Questions?
01/
What got you into this industry?
I started in physical Industrial Design at RISD, but quickly realized the biggest user frustrations were actually in the digital interfaces. I transitioned to MedTech UX because I love bridging that gap—making sure the digital screen feels as intuitive and safe as the physical hardware in a surgeon's hands.
02/
How do you handle cross functions collaboration?
I view design as a team translation effort, not a solo act. In high-stakes environments like FDA robotics, I can't design in a silo. I partner closely with engineers, QA, and Human Factors early on, treating their technical constraints as my core design features rather than roadblocks.
03/
How does AI fit into your workflow?
I use AI as my high-speed sparring partner for the heavy lifting, like generating realistic dummy data for dashboards or drafting complex information architecture. It handles the busywork so I can save all my creative energy for what AI can't do: spatial mapping and physical human factors.
04/
How do you handle revisions and feedback?
I leave my ego at the door! In MedTech, feedback isn’t personal; it’s usually about patient safety and system risk. I treat every critique from a surgeon or engineer as a valuable data point. If my UI causes cognitive friction, I just map it back to the root cause and pivot.
05/
Where are you based?
I am local to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. That said, I am happy to move across North America for the right opportunity :-) With experiences working from Boston, San Francisco and Providence, one day I want to work in Portland Oregon, Montreal or Toronto.
06/
What kinds of projects do you take on?
For freelance, I take on short to long projects from a feature audit to a full redesign / renovation to your digital product. You define the scope, I will work with you to determine the tasks per sprint. Feel free to shoot me an email to get started.
